5. Description of the Service
Through the Service, AIScanly offers a subscription to check whether a text or an image was created with AI, together with tools to humanize and paraphrase texts.
The contract between AIScanly and the buyer will be concluded in the language of the buyer’s country of origin.
The purchase process in the online service is as follows:
- You create an account on the Website with your email and a password, or with your Google account.
- You choose the trial offered in the payment window or on the Pricing page and pay for it.
- Once you have purchased the service, you have an account area where you will find:
- Documents: the list of documents you have created or edited, which you can organize in folders.
- Statistics: your checks and the words you have used.
- Users: to invite collaborators to your account to work on your documents (with the monthly plan).
- Billing: to see your plan and invoices, change your card and cancel your subscription.
- Settings: to change your account preferences.
Once the service has been purchased, we confirm it by email, within 24 hours at the latest, to the address you have given us. The email explains the service, how long the trial lasts, what the subscription costs after it and how to cancel it. The invoice for each charge, with the applicable taxes, is available in Billing.
5.1 Subscription
The Service is provided on a subscription basis. The available subscription plans, prices, billing periods, trial conditions and applicable renewal terms are shown to the user during the purchase process and before confirming the order.
Depending on the offer available at the time of purchase, users may be offered a trial period for a nominal introductory charge, or at no charge when a promotional offer applies. The amount of this introductory charge may vary depending on the user’s country, region, currency, location, payment method or the specific offer shown at checkout.
The trial lasts from the moment it is paid. The total amount charged for the trial will never exceed the introductory price shown to the user at the time of purchase.
Unless the user cancels the subscription before the end of the trial period, the subscription automatically renews into the paid subscription plan shown at checkout. The applicable subscription fee is then charged to the user’s payment method on a recurring basis until the subscription is cancelled.
The subscription renews automatically for the applicable billing period unless it is cancelled before the renewal date. By subscribing to the Service, the user authorizes us to charge the applicable subscription fees to the selected payment method, including any recurring renewal payments.
During the trial, the user’s documents are kept for the length of the trial and deleted when it ends. With the monthly plan, they are kept until the user deletes them or closes the account.
Users can cancel their subscription at any time from Billing in their account, from the unsubscribe page without logging in, or by writing to . After cancelling, the user keeps access to the Service until the end of the current billing period or trial period, as applicable.
